 A Maxim evaporator utilizes waste heat to convert seawater, brackish or other contaminated water into high quality fresh water.  As a result, little new energy generation is needed.  A Maxim evaporator significantly reduces your operating costs since waste heat is used to provide the bulk of the power to the evaporator.

 

Environmentally Friendly

A Maxim evaporator does not use cartridge filters or membranes that require replacement.  This means there are no disposal concerns. 

Simple & Highly Reliable Design

A Maxim evaporator, unlike many competitive technologies, does not use complex high pressure pumps and filtration systems. Our simple design means that a Maxim evaporator is reliable and easy to operate. Unlike other technologies which are subject to high wear, downtime, and replacement costs, our units have very low maintenance costs because our evaporators generate very little scaling and do not require frequent cleaning.  In fact, many Maxim distilling plants are in service after 35 years.
