Maxim Evaporators, LLC is a manufacturer of desalination equipment based in Shreveport, LA. We are seeking a Houston-based, aggressive, results-driven sales representative to develop business in Houston, TX and the surrounding markets. This individual will educate clients in the offshore oil & gas and shipbuilding & repair industries on the Maxim Evaporators product line and recommend a solution-based system to meet the desalination needs of the clients. A degree in Engineering is preferred. Equivalent sales experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of recent business development experience. Experience in the desalination industry is a plus. A proven track record in building territories, identifying new prospects, cultivating new business, and managing customer relationships is required. This individual must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidate should be a confident user in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
